About My Research

I explore virtual galaxies and their surroundings, and use my explorations to give insight on how these massive structures form. Take a look through my visualizations, publications, or code, or email me if you have a question.

About Me

I am currently a McCue Fellow at UC Irvine. I received my PhD from Northwestern University, where I worked with Claude-André Faucher-Giguère as a member of the FIRE project.

When I’m not working on research I’ve spent a lot of time teaching high school students as a Reach for the Stars fellow. For one of my especially interesting projects I worked with the Northwestern Academy for Chicago Public Schools to create vault, a place for high school students to answer in-depth questions about the world around them.
